Shipping policy
Shipping and Delivery
All expeditions include:
- The product(s) ordered;
- The transport guide;
- The invoice;
- Other mandatory accompanying documentation depending on the country of dispatch/delivery;
- Informative and/or promotional material.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, deliveries of all products purchased on the Richard Dixon website have associated shipping costs.
Delivery of the order is made to the address indicated by the Customer (as long as it is located in one of the countries to which Richard Dixon sells through its website).
The system automatically assumes for this purpose the address that the Customer indicated in his account. However, in the order process, the Customer can edit this address or add an alternative address for each specific delivery. It is important that you pay special attention when filling out this field to avoid delivery problems and consequently additional costs.
The order will be delivered by shipping companies selected by Richard Dixon.
Information about order delivery will be sent via email to the contacts indicated in the Customer's account. Richard Dixon recommends that these are always up to date at the time of ordering.
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that you are available on the day of order delivery. After an attempted delivery, the products will be returned and you will be credited with a full refund of the purchase amount. In this situation, if there is still interest in receiving the product, the Customer will have to place the order again on the Richard Dixon website.
Richard Dixon reserves the right to split delivery of the order, for example, but not limited to, if part of the order is delayed or unavailable. In these cases, the Customer is informed via the email address indicated in the order process.
Upon receiving the order, the Customer must check the integrity of the packaging. If any anomalies are detected, they must be recorded accurately and in detail by the shipping company and delivery refused. Otherwise, the Customer will not be able to complain about this issue.
Average delivery times are as follows:
Mainland Portugal - Between 2-3 business days after shipping**
Madeira and Azores - Between 10 and 15 working days after shipping**
Other Countries - Up to 30 days after shipping**
ATTENTION - Delivery times are estimated, and are only considered valid when there are no physical or structural impediments (incorrect addresses or force majeure setbacks, such as strikes, loss of connection, etc.).
**Shipping after order processing time valid for business days. We do not process orders during weekends and/or holidays.
Richard Dixon always proceeds to ensure on-time delivery. If it is not possible to deliver the order within the estimated timeframe, the maximum delivery time will be 30 days.
The deadlines mentioned may change during promotion periods, sales, Christmas or in the event of a lack of stock.
Richard Dixon is not responsible for failure to comply, or delay in performance, of any obligation resulting from a force majeure event (event, act or omission beyond its reasonable control).
